Meet at RBM Campbell Rd at 8:30AM. We will go south Cottonwood, White Rock Creek, and Santa Fe trails get coffee and return. About 40 miles. I am told we will have tail wind back to RBM.

Rest of the kit. What? No socks?
Velo Veterans is a mostly retired group of bicyclists in Dallas, Texas. Average age is usally over 65. We ride most Mondays and Wednesdays. Our rides are social; we usually stop for coffee. Each rider is responsible for his or her own safety. Details of each week's rides are posted on this blog.
Typical Wednesday ride.
WEDNESDAY'S RIDES
Wednesday morning usually leaving from the Big Thicket at White Rock Lake. We ride 20 to 35 mile routes, always stopping for coffee. Participation is usually 10 to 20 riders and average speed is 13 to 15 mph - well maybe sometimes a little more if we can't control Dean. Sometimes we deviate from the norm, starting at a different location so we can ride in the country.
MONDAY'S RIDES
Monday's auxiliary rides are at White Rock Lake, starting from the Big Thicket near the sail boats. We always ride around the lake; this way Gene and I don't get lost. If the weather is good we do a third lap, stopping for coffee at the Green Spot or similar and some animals do another lap.
