Meet at Richardson Bike Mart Campbell Road at 9:00 AM we will go to Legacy approx. 25 miles.  I am riding up if anyone wants to join me I will be at the Big Thicket at 7:50 a.m.  It is 12 miles to Bike Mart from the Big Thicket 24 round trip.    

Looks like a great day 60 to 70 degrees.

Park in the city lot at the southeast corner of Davis and S. Tennessee streets in

McKinney (203 East Davis St.).   The ride will be about 40 miles and we are parking just off the square in downtown Mckinney.

Velo Veterans Veterans Day Ride: Monday, Nov 12. 9:00 a.m.

Start at Richardson Bike Mart on Garland Road.  Last year we veterans rode 100 miles in Jeff’s honor.  Well Jeff is now in North Carolina so he’ll never know that this year we’re only doing a metric century.  Park across Oldgate behind the White Rock Medical.  Be ready to ride at 9:00.  The first loop is 50 miles with one stop mid-way at a 7-11.  We’ll regroup and recoup at barbec’s.  What’ll you have?  A Beer Batter Biscuit?  Steak and eggs?  Milk shake and French fries?  After our rest (old men need naps) the fearless and brave will then ride another 12 or so miles.

We think of ourselves as a bunch of crotchety old men.  But younger, nicer members of the opposite gender occasionally show up.  Today we set a record.  Not only did we have 22 riders but 5 of them didn't fit the mold. What is this world coming to?

Pilot Point Wednesday 10/03/2012 8:30AM

We are going back to Pilot Point Tx.  Park on the square in downtown P.P. we are going about 40 miles, there is a food stop after 10 miles.   Rest rooms after 20 and 30 miles in the park no food just water. This is a great ride with good roads.

June 20 - Slay the Dragon

Being frequently lost did not deter the grey-bearded Wednesday Warriors from chasing the dragon. Finally finding it in Denton County, the dragon (look close) was slain. The warriors filled their mugs with coffee and headed into the wind. Next chapter, next week.

Meet at the Old Celina Park on FM 428 at 9am. Go west out of town on Walnut turn left at the top of the hill on FM 428 the ball park is on the left. There is a rest room at the park. We will ride east about 40 miles, and eat in Celina.

If it is raining in Dallas or Celina there is no ride!

Meet at the Old Celina Park west of town on FM428.  Go west out of town on Walnut and turn left at the top of the hill on FM428 ball park is on the right.  Gene and Gordy are leading a ride in the country. This will be a 25 mile loop hope to make it longer or do the loop twice.
